Roof Shield™ installs the same style and quality metal shingle as the best-known roofing companies in New England, but on average, for thousands of dollars less. The difference in pricing makes Roof Shield™ an exceptionally good value.
Each year since 2019 we have conducted a shopper survey of the top metal roofing companies in the northeast. (Two of the companies serve all New England states, the third serves eastern Massachusetts only). The last survey was done in the summer of 2023 and the results are shown in the chart below. Each company was asked to provide a written price quote on the same roof. To ensure an “apples-to-apples” comparison each quote was done using the same specs, with no discounts, added options, or financing applied.

The question is, if our metal shingles and installation process are of equal quality, then “how can our price be lower?” The answer is simple. Understandably consumers often pay a higher price to do business with a company they are more familiar with and has a longer history, but as the newest brand in the category Roof Shield™ is less familiar.
